Frequently asked questions
Can't find your answer? Our support team usually replies within a day.
What is ShikkhaSathi?
ShikkhaSathi is an academic companion for university students in Bangladesh. It puts your Google Classroom assignments, materials and announcements on one dashboard, and offers short Midterm and Final prep courses listed by university, department, semester and course code.
Which universities does ShikkhaSathi cover?
Courses are listed by university, department, semester and course code, and some are general courses for any university. The Universities page shows which universities have courses right now.
Is ShikkhaSathi free?
Creating an account and connecting Google Classroom are free. Each course has its own price in Taka, and some courses are free.
Can I see a course before buying it?
Teachers can mark lessons as free previews. Check the course page for free preview lessons, the curriculum and reviews from students who bought the course.
Who makes the courses?
Independent teachers publish them. ShikkhaSathi reviews every course before it goes live, and only verified teachers can sell paid courses.
What if there's no course for my university?
Post it on the course request board. Teachers see the most-voted requests first, and you'll be notified when a matching course is published.
How do I pay? What if money is deducted but the course doesn't open?
Pay with bKash, Nagad, Rocket or card. Our server verifies every payment with the gateway and re-checks automatically if anything gets stuck.
What can you see when I connect Google Classroom?
Only your classes, assignments, your own submission status, materials and announcements, synced read-only. Handing in work from ShikkhaSathi is a separate, optional permission, used only when you tap Turn In. Disconnecting deletes every bit of cached data.
Do courses guarantee what will be in the exam?
No. Teachers highlight likely important topics, which is not a guarantee. Covering the full syllabus is always the safest plan.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 48 hours of purchase if you've watched less than 20% of the course.
Is ShikkhaSathi part of my university or Google?
No. ShikkhaSathi is an independent platform. It is not officially affiliated with any university, and it is not affiliated with Google.
